People may know your smile, your work ethic, your role in their life—but not your inner world.

You get seen in fragments:

  • the helpful version of you
  • the productive version
  • the “always handling it” version

But not the version that’s tired of holding everything together.

And partial being seen can feel more isolating than not being seen at all.

Journal prompt:
What parts of me do I hide because I don’t think they’ll be understood?

I hide how overwhelmed I feel because I don’t want my family to think I can’t handle things , and I want to be there when they need me no matter what

I think to a certain extent we all feel this way , but always remember to take care of yourself first so that you can be there for other people .
